Formules voor Persoonlijke Ontwikkeling: Inspiratie voor een Oriëntatietraject

This 3-day job shadowing focuses on exploring similar training pathways within adult education, specifically aimed at young adults (16-25 years old) who want to orient themselves after secondary education and need personal development and guidance. We will delve into ‘folk high schools’ or ‘liberal adult education colleges’ that offer programmes in line with the concept of our proposed ‘Basecamp’ pathway for second-chance education in Flanders.

The job shadowing aims to gain insight into the design, content and success factors of such orientation pathways. Specific attention will be paid to how these institutions integrate personality training, individual coaching, group activities and practical experiences. We will investigate how the approach contributes to empowering and supporting trainees who are still searching for their path, with the ambition of developing a similar high-quality and sustainable path within Flemish adult education.

• Inzicht in Oriëntatietrajecten: Deelnemers krijgen diepgaand inzicht in de organisatorische en pedagogische opzet van volwassenonderwijsinstellingen die vergelijkbare oriëntatietrajecten aanbieden, met een focus op persoonlijkheidsvorming en loopbaanoriëntatie voor jonge volwassenen.
• Best Practices in Persoonlijke Ontwikkeling: Deelnemers identificeren en analyseren concrete methodieken en best practices die in Finland worden toegepast voor de begeleiding en ondersteuning van cursisten op het gebied van life competencies, individuele groei, en het opbouwen van netwerken, die relevant zijn voor de ontwikkeling van een Vlaams "Basecamp"-traject.
• Haalbaarheidsanalyse & Adaptatie: Deelnemers kunnen op basis van de opgedane kennis een gefundeerde bijdrage leveren aan een haalbaarheidsstudie en adaptatieplan voor het ontwikkelen van een vergelijkbaar "Basecamp"-traject binnen het Vlaamse tweedekansonderwijs, inclusief overwegingen over financiering, personeelsbezetting en samenwerking met externe partners
