    This course is developed within the scope of the European project 'Raise Against Intolerance New Bridges on the Web'. Central to this project is the development of innovative materials that involve the whole school context and are built on non-formal teaching methods to tackle polarization. During this course you learn how to build a strong school vision and how to use materials on the topic's media, fake news, social media and hate speech.

    A detailed programma will be communicated prior to departure.






      


    Overall goals for the participating schools in the project: 

    1) learn how to build in an integrated way on the topic of citizenship education
    2) learn how citizenship education can be integrated in the whole school climate (participation
        of all teachers, students,…)
    3) learn how to organize effective citizenship education activities + how these activities can be
        evaluated at school

    Bulgaria, Plovdiv
    950 euro. The price does not include flight tickets from your destination to the course venue. For people travelling as participant in a Catholic Education Consortium, flight tickets are included and saturday (travelling back  to Belgium).

    The course will be provided by different experts which each contributed to the RAINBOW-project. Next, you will look behind and in front of the scenes of a school in Bulgaria and experience some real Bulgarian culture!
