Focus is on Secondary Education. This week is all about dealing with diversity. How can you as a teacher be flexible in dealing with the needs of your students? How can you build up this so-called 'adaptive expertise'? During the week, we combine the expertise from various Erasmus projects and from the Fontys Teacher Training Colleges. The programme also includes school visits and reflection on what you have learned. This week gives an impulse to your further professional development.

A detailed programma will be communicated prior to departure.


You are introduced to the Dutch education system
You get to know the concept of AE
You experience how to challenge adaptive expertise
You reflect on your own educational practice and find out where you can integrate aspects of AE
You reflect individually and collectively on what you learn during this course
Collaborating and learning in an international context
Sharing experiences and good practices

1240 euro.
The price does not include flight tickets from your destination to the course venue.
For people travelling as participant in a Catholic Education Consortium, flight tickets are included + traveldays will be sunday (travelling to destination) and saturday (travelling back to Belgium).

What to expect

The course will be provided by an expert in adaptive expertise. Next, you will look behind and in front of the scenes of a school in Tilburg and experience some real Dutch culture.
