SDG in education

During this week, we offer participants an in-depth look at how the school /organisations integrates the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into both the curriculum and school culture. We start with a comprehensive overview of our ongoing projects focused on climate, sustainability, ecology, inclusion, and the well-being of our students. We will then observe how pupils are actively involved in responsibilities and decision-making processes within the school.

We will also see how the innovative Take1 programme takes shape and actively contributes to the development of our pupils. The week includes interactive participation in or observation of a activities where pupils discuss crucial topics such as sustainability.

• We get a view of how the school integrates the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into the curriculum and overall school culture;
• We obtain an overview of ongoing projects focused on climate, sustainability/ecology, inclusion, and student well-being and how everything is managed to realise these different projects. What kind of leadership is used/applied;
• Active participation in and/or observation of activities in which pupils are involved in conversations about important topics such as sustainability;
• Participants will have the opportunity to identify and collect best practices and effective teaching methods used by the school to integrate ESDG/SDG principles into education;
• We reflect on how these approaches and activities can be applied in our educational institutions or contexts.
